Godox iT32 Firmware V1.15 Released – Fix for Panasonic HSS Issue

Godox has officially released firmware version V1.15 for the iT32 Standard Version.
This update mainly fixes an HSS (High-Speed Sync) issue when using Panasonic cameras with the X5 trigger module.

All users who shoot with Panasonic cameras and use the iT32 + X5 combination are strongly recommended to upgrade.

Fixed Issue

Issue Description:
When using Panasonic cameras, the X5O trigger module automatically enabled High-Speed Sync (HSS) by default and could not be turned off.

Fix Result:

  • The forced default HSS behavior has been removed

  • HSS can now be enabled or disabled normally via the iT32 controller

  • HSS control logic has been restored to normal operation

⚠️ Note:
HSS must be enabled or disabled through the iT32 controller after connecting the X5 module.

Firmware Upgrade Requirements

Please make sure to use the following upgrade tool:

  • Godox Firmware Upgrade Software: G3 V1.1 or later

  • The latest version can be downloaded from the official Godox website

How to Check Your Current Firmware Version

  1. Power on the device

  2. Enter the menu

  3. Go to Device Information

  4. Check the firmware version (e.g. V1.00, V1.15)

iT32 Firmware Upgrade Methods

Method 1 – Menu Upgrade Mode

  1. Power on the iT32

  2. Enter the menu

  3. Go to Device Information

  4. Connect the iT32 to your computer via USB cable

  5. Click Firmware Upgrade

Method 2 – Forced Upgrade Mode

  1. Power off the iT32

  2. Press and hold the SET button

  3. While holding SET, connect the USB cable to your computer

  4. The device will enter upgrade mode automatically

X5 Module Upgrade Method

  1. Power off the iT32

  2. Mount the X5 module onto the iT32

  3. Press and hold the power button on iT32 to turn it on

  4. If the X5 firmware is outdated, it will automatically upgrade

Upgrade Recommendation

We strongly recommend upgrading to firmware V1.15 if you are using:

  • Panasonic cameras

  • iT32 + X5 trigger system

  • High-Speed Sync shooting
